A FAMILY LEGACY

Our Story

Masters of Crown is a family-owned small business, but more than that we think of it as a labor of love, hard work and inspiring legacy. Raymond Lopez, the company’s founder, learned everything he needed about being a craftsman from his father: Ramón Lopez. He started working for his father as a sweeper after high school. They did high-end cabinet work for commercial and residential industries. Raymond not only learned from his father the techniques needed to execute the very precise craft of building cabinetry, but also got to see his work ethic and leadership skills first hand. Managing more than a 100 men was not an easy task, but Ramón did it like second nature.

Ramón was born in Chihuahua, Mexico. He came to the United States when he was just sixteen years old. His father passed away when he was twelve years old. After seeing his mother struggle to provide him and his siblings his focus became to learn and work as hard as he could to be able to help his mother. At sixteen, Ramón became the main provider to his entire family. Fast forward a few years and he had a family of his own. He saw them grow up and instilled in them his work ethic and his love of doing things the right way… without cutting corners.

His son Raymond, inspired by his dad’s success in the cabinetry business decided to go to school for four years at Cabinet Makers and Mill Men Local 721. He has proudly worked for his father and uncle for over 25 years. Working on most major Las Vegas Hotels, including the MGM Grand Hotel to luxury homes in Beverly Hills their experience is hard to copy.

Now with his own company, Masters of Crown, Raymond has the artistic opportunity to utilize everything he learned. This company is a labor of love and dedication, and we like to pass that to our clients in the work that we do. Our aim to please our customers and leave them completely satisfied with our work.

Sadly, Ramón passed away in 2020. Although he is deeply missed, he left behind a legacy of hardworking craftsmen to follow in his footsteps including Raymond’s sons.

“My hope is to honor my father, my hero, with the work that I do and to leave a little piece of his legacy in every client’s home.”
